Project details
Hanoi, VietnamLighting plays a significant role in this showroom's interior. The lighting must complement the architectural intent without driving attention away from automobile displays. At the same time, the lighting must highlight the range of automobiles in their truest colours while fostering a comfortable environment for everyone occupying the space. Especially in working areas such as the meeting room and private working spaces, the lighting must encourage employees' productivity and creativity.
The MVP of the VSA Mercedes-Benz Showroom's lighting scheme is the Akira Square Ceiling Lights. These luminaires provide a smooth, high level of diffused brightness, perfect for general lighting tasks. Housed in a slimline profile, the Akira Squares are recessed into the ceiling and positioned neatly in lines, creating a stunning arrangement for both visual impact and lighting effects. Additionally, the Akiras' high CRI ensures the perfect lumination to highlight the honest colours of the displayed automobiles, beautifully meeting the lighting requirements of the showroom.
When visual comfort is at the forefront of lighting design, indirect lighting will, without a doubt, be in use. In order to strive for perfection and the utmost high-quality visual, ADP Architects has integrated indirect lighting into their design, specifically through the use of the Eclipse Linear Lights hidden behind glass walls. Not just to foster a comfortable environment, these Eclipse Linear Lights also provide a subtle highlight to the showroom's counter adding sophisticated highlights to the showroom.
Throughout the showroom, a series of Node Darklights can also be seen. Recessed into the ceilings, the luminaires are invisible light sources that are subtle and comforting, effectively adding elegance to the showroom.
In contrast to the luxuriousness required when designing the lighting for VSA Mercedes-Benz Showroom's automobile display area, the lumination in the working spaces is intended to harness employees' focus, comfort and visual wellness. This ethos is put to life with a series of Titanium Downlights featuring throughout VSA Mercedes-Benz Showroom's working area. Delivering more than just performance, the Titaniums also complement the space's design effortlessly, thanks to its minimal and timeless body.
